The Cim del Benicadell Route begins at the Benicadell Forest House, where, after a short drive up the forest track, you will start a demanding climb to the summit of this iconic mountain. The route includes a stop at the Benicadell Ice House, an Arabic structure once used for ice storage. This is an example of the ice trade, which was crucial in those times due to climate changes. From the Ice House, you will continue the ascent to the peak, crossing a rather exposed ridge that will take you to the summit, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views.
